Acceptable Use.

1. What this covers

This policy applies to everyone who uses Merakio: professionals offering services, clients ordering them, and anything you upload, deliver, or send through the platform. It forms part of the Terms of Service.

2. What is not allowed

You may not use Merakio for:

  • Illegal goods or services, or services that break the law.
  • Fraud, scams, or deceiving clients or Merakio.
  • Infringing copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property.
  • Sexually explicit, violent, or exploitative material.
  • Hate, harassment, bullying, or discrimination.
  • Malware, phishing, or attempts to bypass security.
  • Spam or unsolicited bulk messaging.
  • Circumventing platform or service fees or the payment flow (for example arranging payment outside Merakio).
  • Marking a deposit as non-refundable when that does not reflect the real terms of the service, or using the refundability setting in bad faith to evade legitimate refund obligations or mislead clients.
  • Impersonating others or supplying false business details.
  • Money laundering or other financial crime.
  • Scraping, overloading, or automated abuse of the platform.

3. Uploaded and delivered work

You are responsible for the files, messages, and work you share through Merakio. Make sure you have the rights to what you upload and that it complies with this policy and the law.

4. Consequences

If you break this policy, Merakio may issue a warning, pause or suspend your store, freeze payouts, or terminate your account. For serious cases we may involve the relevant authorities. Open disputes are handled through our dispute process.
